North Platte Livestock Auction, located in the north east corner of North Platte on 15 acres, has been an important part of  Western Nebraska for over 70 years. It was originally located at it’s site along the Union Pacific Railroad for transportation purposes to move cattle to the Omaha Stockyards.  
NPLA is a Family Owned Business! Holly and her husband Frank live in North Platte where Holly owns and operates North Platte Livestock Auction and Frank is the Minister at the First Lutheran Church. Holly hails from the Flint Hills of Kansas where she worked alongside her father in the Livestock Auction Business during the 70's and 80's and Ranched a Cow/Calf operation for 25 years.
NPLA has a weekly sale every Tuesday that includes a Weigh-Up sale at 10:00am. A monthly Horse/Tack Sale is held the last Tuesday of each month and Video Sales are held periodically throughout the year. Every sale is broadcasted live over the internet at dvauction.com.
